Swayne Martin

Swayne Martin is an editor and partner at Boldmethod, private pilot, and commercial aviation student at the University of North Dakota. He started flight training at 15 years old, and since has grown his personal website “Private to Professional Pilot” and YouTube channel, both of which have received hundreds of thousands of views.

His flight experiences range from co-piloting a 1943 Grumman Widgeon across the United States to British Columbia, logging dozens of tailwheel hours in Carbon Cubs, to even flying right seat in a King Air F90 from Alabama to Nicaragua. But as for his main goal, being a teenager, Swayne focuses his attention on growing general aviation and hopefully inspiring as many future pilots that are his age to begin their own flight training.

In being a partner at Boldmethod, Swayne is excited to be a part of the movement to revolutionize the way flight training works. In a modern, technology-saturated era, the next generation of pilots should have the opportunity to utilize the best online training methods.
